When I found out I was expecting a baby girl I had all sorts of different emotions - excitement, fear, joy, terror, etc. I had in my mind what it would be like to have a little girl. How different it would be from having boys. Well for the most part it was about the same - only I got to buy accessories and play dress up so much more! But other than that - little girls still spit up, mess their diapers, pass gas and generally make just as many messes as their male counterparts.
Now here we are at almost 2.
The differences are becoming evident.
Mood sings - in full swing!
Already picky about what to wear and wants to change all day long.
A purse is a must have - packed to the hilt with treasures.
PINK! By far her favorite color. Given any choice of what to wear it will always be pink!
Dollies - we must have a doll with us at all times, only she calls them babies.
Her way- or the highway - this isn't going over well with Mom, infringing on my territory!
Loves lotion and combs.
SHOES! SHOES! SHOES! SHOES!
Enjoys shopping.
Bring on Polly Pockets, Barbie Dolls, My Little Pony, pedicures, tea parties and cupcakes.
I'm looking forward to it all.
I love this little girl.
